If your Radio/CD says 'SAFE' 'CODE' or 'LOCKED' it probably means the set has been disconnected from the car battery and unless you have the correct code the radio will be inoperative and therefore useless! To get it working again click here.

  FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions???

Can we decode any radio? Our Decode software covers 95% of all makes and models and is being constantly upgraded with new models.

Do I have to send the radio to you for decoding? Some stereos can be decoded by serial number and can be decoded by clicking this link, the cost of this service is only £5.00 , all other makes and models have to be sent to our workshop for manual decoding.

Will you give me a new code? Our Software reads the Original code number from the radio and Prints it out on your Invoice, you will also receive a code card with the code number on it, please keep this in a safe place for future use.

How do I enter the Code in My radio? All Radios have different ways of entering the code, If you need advice Please Contact us and we will be happy to help.

The car dealer has given me the original radio code but it doesn't work? It is possible that the radio is not the original radio for the car or the code may have been changed during a previous repair or decode. We can solve your problem with a decode or reprogramming.

What is the difference between decode and reprogramming? When we decode a radio the computer reads only the part of the memory that includes the code, Sometimes the data in the radio's memory chip is contaminated and gives problems like....memory faults, display faults and code faults. If this happens the radio has to be fully reprogrammed with the default data.

I have the correct code but the radio wont accept it, what can be wrong? The Radio could be locked out, It is possible that someone has tried to enter a code or accidentally entered a number by pressing the radio preset buttons. Most radios will go in to 'sleep' mode and there will be a delay before you can enter another code. (usually a few minutes) if you continue to enter the wrong code the radio will eventually become permanently locked out (usually after 10 wrong attempts) The Radio must then be decoded and unlocked, Unlocking is done during the decode process and is included in the price.
